This our first quilt show - the first of a new tradition in Adaminaby we hope
We want everyone to enter - to come along and view the quilts; take part in the workshops; enjoy the other activites and enjoy Adaminaby and all it has to offer.
The whole town is getting behind this show. We will be organising other activities to keep the rest of the family occupied while you can spend time at the show and maybe do a workshop.
Unfortunately we cannot guarantee what the weather will do - there may still be snow at Mt Selwyn, which is the closest ski field, but there will snow over the other side at Thredbo. For the fishing fraternity it is the first days of the new river fly fishing season - if you would like to try it let us know and we will arrange a lesson if you like or tell you where they are biting.
For those interested in history, there are relics of the 'Old Town' to be seen - just what depends on how much rain and snow thaw that Lake Eucumbene receives but notwithstanding that you can view some of the old buildings that were moved over 50 years ago. Leigh Stewart has an excellent pictorial record of the event and Steve at the Supermarket is only too happy to help visitors with information.
