Patchwork & Quilt Classes
You are invited to submit entries in the following classes. Quilts may be entered in one class only –
1. Quilt any size – entirely hand worked
2. Quilt any size – machine pieced and hand quilted
3. Quilt any size – machine pieced and quilted by maker
4. Quilt any size – machine pieced and professionally quilted
5. Childs quilt - designed for use by a child
6. Cot quilt
7. Candlewicked quilt
8. Applique quilt
9. Wall hanging
10. Garment
11. Bag or other article
12. Xmas article
13. Embroidered quilt - may be divided into hand or machine embroidered if entries warrant.
Special awards will be given for colour coordination, innovative design and use of material.
Junior quilt makers (under 17 years) will be judged separately and divided when entries are received.
All quilts will be hung and it would be appreciated if hanging sleeves could be attached to entries. If you have not built one into your quilt, please include a sleeve the width of the quilt and sufficient safety pins to attach it.
If the quilt owners wish to sell their quilts, Adaminaby CWA will retain 5% of the proceeds and forward the balance to the quilter
